Discover Skiing and Discover Snowboarding are all-inclusive lift, lesson and rental packages at Canadian ski areas from coast to coast. Discover Cross-Country are all-inclusive trail, lesson and rental packages for new nordic skiers.
Canadian families looking for healthy, outdoor recreational activities this winter can save money while learning these sports.
“Studies show when kids are dressed warmly and are exposed to outdoor activity their metabolic rates speed up and they burn calories faster,” said Patrick Arkeveld, president and CEO of the Canadian Ski Council. What’s more, skiing and snowboarding are family sports that everyone can enjoy.
Discover Skiing, Snowboarding and Cross-Country packages are designed to safely introduce these snow sports to beginners, or to re-introduce them to people who are out of practice.
Discover packages include:
• a ticket for beginner lifts at ski areas and beginner trails at cross-country areas
• rentals of ski, cross-country ski or snowboard equipment
• a one-hour group lesson from certified ski and snowboard instructors.
Prices for Discover packages vary from ski area to ski area, starting from as low as $40 per person.
