YVR is conducting expansion joint repairs on the roadway and sidewalks on Departures Level 3, from Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel at U.S. Departures to the Graham Clarke Atrium.
This construction project is scheduled to run from September 11th to October 20th, with work hours primarily from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to pay special attention to signage and traffic management in the area and can expect the following impacts while the project is ongoing:
- Lane closures on Departures Level 3 to facilitate the repairs.
- Partial closures on the sidewalk along Departures Level 3—Pedestrians are always encouraged to use the marked access path available.
- Temporary relocation of the courtesy shuttle buses—please follow posted signs to the relocated area for shuttle pick up.
- Expect intermittent noise from construction.
