Sun Country Airlines has announced a new seasonal nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul to YVR, marking Sun Country’s first-ever route to Canada in the company’s 36-year history.
Sun Country Airlines is an award-winning airline, the eleventh largest in the U.S., that is recognized for being a leader in leisure travel, with a focus on connecting passengers to their favourite cities at an ultra-low price.
Known as the Twin Cities, Minneapolis-St. Paul is a major metropolitan area, built around the Mississippi, Minnesota and St. Croix rivers in east central Minnesota. It is an incredibly diverse area with an abundance of cultural attractions, outdoor recreation and world-class shopping.
The addition of this new route provides another travel option for Canadians seeking a summer getaway, all while furthering YVR’s position as a world-class sustainable hub airport.
Flights to the Twin Cities by Sun Country Airlines will launch on May 20, 2020, flying twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
