The largest and most diverse gathering of stakeholders in the Canadian cargo supply chain will take place at the 2015 Cargo Logistics Canada Expo and Conference to be held at the Vancouver Convention Center West on January 28-29, 2015.
As a major sponsor of the event, Vancouver Airport Authority is presenting the January 28 keynote luncheon address: “Economic Outlook including Canada’s Integrative Trade Performance.”
The address will be given by Glen Hodgson, senior vice president and chief economist of the Conference Board of Canada. As the Board’s chief spokesperson on economic issues and with 32 years experience in international economics and finance, Hodgson’s address will provide attendees with information on key indicators of Canada’s integrative trade performance including export growth and population, import volumes, trade diversification, foreign investment in Canada, manufacturing exports, and more.
The YVR community will also play host to delegates who will have the opportunity to join the Purolator management team for an exclusive tour of its 18,600-square-metre courier distribution centre on Sea Island. The tour will include the air operations sorting facility and the largest automated sorter in Western Canada.
With up to 100 speakers, more than 30 seminars and 150-plus exhibits featuring innovative solutions, this major industry event produced by industry leader Informa Canada Inc., has consolidated the entire freight transport spectrum into one must-attend convention.
