On June 6, 2013, WestJet Encore took delivery of the first of 20 Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners, which will be used to serve multiple destinations including the new Vancouver – Terrace route.
Effective November 25, 2013, WestJet will offer new twice-daily, non-stop service between Vancouver and Terrace, B.C.
Operated by WestJet Encore using Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft, the service will benefit the entire northwest region of the province, which is undergoing a major economic transformation due to billions of dollars in investment in forestry, mining, smelting, hydroelectricity, liquefied natural gas and infrastructure projects in the Kitimat-Terrace industrial corridor.

Details of WestJet Encore’s new twice-daily, non-stop service between Vancouver and Terrace, are:
Departing Vancouver at 11:40am; arriving Terrace at 1:22pm.
Departing Terrace at 1:55pm; arriving Vancouver at 3:26pm.
Departing Vancouver at 9:30pm; arriving Terrace at 11:12pm.
Departing Terrace at 6am; arriving at 7:30am.
One-way, introductory fares including taxes and fees between Vancouver and Terrace start from $135.58.

WestJet Encore’s new service between Vancouver and Terrace also offers guests the opportunity to connect on the same day in both directions to and from Honolulu, Maui, Kauai and Kona, Orange County, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo and Mazatlan, in addition to connecting to the remainder of WestJet’s extensive domestic and international network.
